For a small vanity sink, check your measurements before you start. You will need to check for a template for the sink. If one is not provided with the sink, you will need to turn the basin upside down and draw your template. You will need to use a flat bit to drill a hole big enough for your jig saw. Then you can score your cutting line, insert your jig saw blade and cut the hole for the worktop surface. Check the hole to see if you need to make any adjustments before you place your sink into the vanity. You will need to place sealing tape around the outside of the hole and then you can push the sink top down firmly until it is in position, make sure there is a tight seal. After you have placed your sink top, you can tighten up your fittings after you have checked your level to make sure it is evenly placed.
